Abigail P. Johnson

Abigail P. Johnson is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of FMR LLC, the parent company of Fidelity Investments. Since joining the firm full-time as an Equity Research Analyst in 1988, Ms. Johnson has worked in and overseen numerous businesses at Fidelity. Before assuming the role of President of FMR in 2013, she served as President of Fidelity’s Retail, Workplace, and Institutional businesses. She also spent several years in the company’s Asset Management division, serving as President of the division from 2001 – 2005. Ms. Johnson assume her Chief Executive duties in 2014 and became Chairman in 2016.

Ms. Johnson received a BA in Art History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 1984, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1988. She is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Associates at the Harvard Business School and the Corporation of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
