Janet Cowell

Janet Cowell is the CEO of Girls Who Invest (GWI) and ex. State Treasurer of North Carolina. She received her MBA from Wharton and undergraduate degree from UPenn.

GWI is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in portfolio management and executive leadership in the asset management industry. Their core value add is that they partner with the top investment firms to place young women in paid internships. Additionally, they provide a summer intensive educational program on-campus, as well as online programs through Wharton and the CFA Institute.
